Hall Farm Nursery tries to remain open as far as possible where it is safe to do so, even in extreme weather. We acknowledge we have many parents who require childcare to enable them to get to work, particularly as we have those who work within emergency services. Should we have to enforce an emergency closure this will be cascaded via email and on our website.

Fees and Payment

We use an online invoice system – First Steps Parent Link. Invoices are generated at the beginning of each month and can be retrieved via an individual parent log in.

Payments are due within 10 days of receipt of invoice. A 5% charge will incur if late payment is received. Please note fees are due for review every September.
We accept all the major childcare vouchers now being issued by employers along with the current government tax free childcare scheme.
Payment can be made by cash, bank transfers, debit and credit cards.
If your child is unwell and doesn’t attend their session the session remains reserved for them and still has to be paid for.

Sibling Discount

A 10% sibling discount is available for the oldest child if both children attend nursery for more than 20 hours a week, attend all year round and pay full fees. This however is not available if your child is in receipt of government funding.

Please see our charging policy for full details.

As we are registered with OFSTED and provide an Early Years Curriculum, children aged 2 – 5 may be eligible to receive Early Education funding as per government guidelines. If applicable, this funding will be reflected as a reduction in the fees you are charged. Government funding is intended to cover the cost to deliver 15 or 30 hours a week of high quality and flexible childcare. It is not intended to cover the cost of meals, consumables, additional hours or additional services.  We implement optional additional services and consumables charges to cover this.
